Ten things I love about where I live: The Gold Coast!
I live 15 minutes away from Australia's most beautiful beaches.
I live 15 minutes from the mountains
Our winter's aren't bitterly cold, all you need is a jumper and a pair of jeans through winter. You can surf and swim all year round.
I live 20 minutes away from some of the Gold Coast's best shops, Pacific Fair, Robina Town Centre, Westfield Helensvale, Australia Fair, Marina Mirage, Surfers Paradise, The Oasis and Harbour Town.
In 25 - 40 minutes I can be at the best riding tracks in South East Queensland, Daisy Hill and Gap Creek.
I live less then 5 minutes drive from my place of work.
I live close to my family (across the road from the in-laws, 15 minutes from my parents, 10 minutes from my sister and my sister-in-law). My Sister-in-law has bought a house in our street so that our kids can grow up together in an area we love.

The Gold Coast has so many things to do; you are never bored. Tonnes of theme parks and other attractions, including tonnes of National Parks and walking trails.
So these are why I'm staying where I live and renovating our house.
The Gold Coast is the best place on Earth! I ♥ it!

Damn right! I live literally 5 minutes from Daisy Hill, so I'm spack bang between the city and the coast : )
ReplyDeletei have found there are plenty of people willing to gold coast bash. have you? but i lived there for two years, and my mum lives there so it's where i go 'home', and i think there's a lot to like about it. including those things you mentioned. i especially liked the beaches and the proximity to byron (one of my favourite places in the world). the sleezy side is a shame but, i found, easy enough to avoid.
