100 steps Challenge

For those who have followed my blog for sometime will remember I was doing a 100 Step Challenge with Linda over at I'm Just Linda. We are re-starting the challenge and you are welcome to join in.

The Challenge:
1. We take a photo that represents one of the small steps we have made towards health (physical or mental) and/or fitness each day of the week.
2. We post all seven of the previous week's photos on Monday.

3. We can choose to elaborate on the photographs, or let them do the talking for themselves.

4. We don't need to post a different photo every single day of the challenge... perhaps part of our new lifestyle is to go to an exercise class once a week - there's no reason why we can't post a photo of going to that same class every week.

5. In 100 days, we're going to get together and celebrate our achievements.

6. We reserve the right to amend the rules if need be (just in case) - but if we do, we'll let you know.

I forgot to post on Monday- Naughty me.

I had a rather busy long weekend followed by a busy couple of days  at school.

I have recieved a number of magazines via my subscriptions to read in the last 2 weeks.

I finally received my free Weight Watchers Recipe book for referring a friend (sometime ago).

Upon purchasing 3 Philly products I got this cookbook for free. I have made 1 recipe from it and it was delicious (I weight Watcher-ified it though) The Home-Ec ladies even said the carrot dip was delicious.

Borders finally sent me the Short Life of Bree Tanner (an eclipse novella), they supposedly sent it weeks ago but it was a clerical error.

My new sewing machine

I bought some fat quarters and some trim to make something out of it. Anyone got any suggestions? Each piece is 52cm x 50cm.

Fishing on Monday

Last Monday my car ticked over 15000km. I've had it since May 2008 and drive short distances each day, to and from work (I work 5 minutes from home).

I've been so busy at work I've had no energy, so my normal exercise routine has gone down the hill. I need to get back into routine, but I just feel so drained this week. Luckily it's only 1 and 1/2 weeks until school holidays.

  1. Question... which one do you prefer? Good Health, Women's Health, Cosmo Health? I alreasy have a subscription to Weight Watchers mag, but find myself wanting to read something else after 2 weeks.

  2. Jess, I prefer Women's Health. It seems to be the easiest to read are credible than Cosmo Health.
