Weekend Wrap up

½  Cup   Wholemeal   Flour
1   Teaspoon   Baking   Powder
1 tablespoon CSR smart Sugar
Few drops of vanilla Extract
¼ Teaspoon Cinnamon
Pinch of salt
½ cup of skim milk
1 whole banana (1/2 mashed ½ sliced)
Teaspoon of olive oil or 1 spray of spray oil

You will need two bowls; one for wet ingredients and one for dry. Place all dry ingredients in one bowl and mix well.  Mash the banana in the other bowl and ass the skim milk. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and stir well; until all ingredients are combined.

Heat the frypan to medium (I used my portable pan), spray with oil and heat. Place four spoons of the pancake batter into the fry pan and allow them to sit for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles form along the edges of the pancake and the pancake will be firm. Flip and cook for another 2 -3 minutes. Take out of the pan and place on a plate; add the sliced part of the banana on top and drizzle with honey.

This weekend we have had quite a bit of rain. Luckily I got to work inside and paint. The gutter on the new solar span roof failed and Greg had to rip it off . The roofers are coming tomorrow morning to fix it. Our new patio area is like a swimming pool.

Body Image
Why is it easier to find faults with our bodies than it is to find positives?

Positive body image is being comfortable in your own skin, being happy with the way you look, and feeling good within yourself.

How to make your body image positive:
  • Find your own style and stick to it.
  • Write a list of positives about your body
  • Don't put pressure on yourself to be perfect - you are unique!
  • Exercise- it releases feel good hormones
  • Be around people who are positive people
  • Buy a new outfit that suits your body type
  • Take time out to pamper yourself - get a facial, massage and wax it does wonders
  • Stand tall - if your project confidence people will see you as being a confident person
Things to do this week:
  • Write your inspiration list
  • Post your before photos
  • Find something that inspires you and post it.
  • Move more; Make “YOU” time by getting in more active activities than this week.  It shouldn't be too hard to do this.
  • Try something new
  • Make obtainable short term goals and stick to it
  • Eat more vegetables and protein.
Inspiring quotes:

My new plan:
  • Exercise at least once a day
  • Eat at least 5 serves of vegetables a day (one cup = one serve)
  • Have protein with every meal (part of the Weight Watchers ProPoints Plan) (a serve of lean meat is palm size) Protein can be chicken breast, turkey breast, eggs, fish, low fat dairy, whey protein and lean red meat.
  • Eat 6 meals a day
  • Drink at least 2 litres of liquid (not diet soft drinks I no longer consume these do to their health risks) Can be water, soda water, ginger tea and coffee (limit of two per day).
  • Stick to two alcoholic drinks only 2 days a week
Let's get me back under 50kg.
