This week I have been fighting sickness. At work there has been a bad cold going around. I have been taking preventative measures not to get sick. I have done only incidental exercise as not to over stress my body.
How do you prevent yourself from getting sick?
I do the following:
- take multivitamins
- wash & dry my hands after the bathroom, touching keyboards and handling food
- take time out for yourself
- stress less
Here are some ideas that I tried last week:
Eat more fruit and vegetablesIn pasta, risotto, salad, wraps, sandwiches, for breakfast on Sat /SunChoose healthy zero point food instead of chocolate or wine at end of day when hungryonly chocolate 1 day this week
Cut down on sugar (includes sweeteners and honey) 1/2 amount of sweetener / honeyEat more unprocessed foods (steel cut oats instead of Uncle Tobys Quick Oats or Weight Wise Oats) Mon-FriDrink less alcohol(4 drinks all week)Exercise more - make a date with yourselfSick this week so little exercise other than incidentalPlan meals for the week(saves time and money) DONE ALL WEEK- Cook a soup for lunch
