Renovations and riding

The renovations are kicking on at my place, yesterday we pulled down the ceilings in the kitchen, livingroom and new study. The bricks have almost been rendered, the garage is lined and set waiting to be painted. On 17th February we get our garage doors. We have put the laundry door in and cavity slider in. Looks great.

The study with no carpet or ceiling.

The living room ready for sheeting.

Our ensuite sink area with waterproof gyprock.

The toilet area

The shower lined too

I'll post more photos soon.

Riding

Today I went mountain bike riding at Mt Joyce Recreational Park, Wayaralong Dam. It was fantastic, I can't wait until the park opens after Easter. I did most of the track, some corners were wet and boggy so I walked those sections. It was so much fun despite the heat. I completed 10.50km. It felt like more because of the climbing. I can't wait to show you more. Hopefully our club will host another ride in 2 weeks.

Fat to Fit - Move it to lose it!

This week I have exercised every day, I have done morning workouts and / or going for a mountain bile ride. What are you doing to lose it?

Weight loss is all about what we put in and what we burn off. I am hoping to make a dint in the exercise I do.

It is recommended that you do at least 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical exercise on five or more days a week

Ideas to get you moving:
Walk for 5km or 45 minutes
Purchase a workout DVD from your local store
Start the couch to 5km program
Do interval training
Join a gym
Purchase an active game for your gaming console
Join a sport or fitness group

Keep a Fitness Diary:
Write down everything, form incidental to specific exercise routines. Track and note how you're feeling physically and emotionally and get inspired to work through your issues and toward your goals.

WHAT I DID LAST WEEK:
  • 2 mountain bike rides totalling 18.8km (not my best I know).
  • Eating more vegetables in dinner and lunches
  • Workout Saturday - thursday
  • 9000 steps + daily
  • eating 6 meals a day instead of 3.
CHANGES I'M MAKING THIS WEEK:
  • Plan weekly meals
  • Only 2 days of drinking, Saturday and Thursday - Limit 2 drinks.
  • Eat all allocated ProPoints, try not to use Weekly Allocated ProPoints.
  • Drink more water
  • Do more exercise, even though I am only working at my house doing renovations.
  • Eat more whole foods instead of processed foods, eating every morning my mixmymuesli.
  • Watch portion sizing - weigh and track everything.
  • Eating fruit and vegetables instead of processed snack foods
  • Doing a morning workout with My Workout on Lifestyle You channel or Jillian Micheals DVD afternoon workout with Zuzana on www.bodyrock.tv - I must do these!!!! NO EXCUSES!
MY AIM THIS WEEK:
  • Is to drink less and exercise more.
  • Walk more (especially when at school)
  • Drink more water
  • Do more free weight training
  • 200 squats app

BLOGversation: Where do you blog?

Today, I'm joining in BLOGversation with Chantelle from Fat Mum Slim. The question today is Where do you blog?

Currently I am Blogging on my dressing table, yes on the dressing table you read right. As we are heavily into our renovations I am are currently staying across the road at my in-laws in the granny flat. The only space we have for my computer is on top of the dressing table. So I am standing typing, it is a little inconvenient and has reduced my computer time by 50%.

I also blog on my iPhone using iBlogger and later edit on my PC to add images and other stuff. this is great as I can compose on the run when an idea pops into my head and thrash it out later.

I am looking forward to creating a new study, filled with great organisational items.
HERE are some of my ideas:
The shelves are awesome!
I like the wall behind the desk!
I'm wanting to get white or black folders and boxes. I have a kikki k voucher to spend before June 2011.

I really like this one!

Where's your blog spot? Where do you like to read and write blogs?
