Friday Fitness
Last week I spoke about keeping well in regards to Mental Health. As it getting warmer now, you need to start focusing on getting enough water.

Facts about water: 
  • 55-75% of our body consists of water, our blood is 83% water, and our muscles and brain consists of like 75% water.
  • Water provides us with several of the main nutrients that the human body needs.
  • The human body has no capacity to store spare water so we have to replace lost water quickly.  This is why there is the recommendation that at a minimum you must drink 8 glasses of water a day.
  • Our bodies use water to aid digestion, cool us down via sweat,
  • A human can't last without water for only 3 days.
  • It helps cleanse waste and toxins from your body, and it improves your skins moisture.
  • improves the absorption process of vitamins and nutrients
  • It speeds up your metabolism, helps maintain muscle tone
How much do we need?
  • 8 glasses of water plus other liquids
  • If you are overweight you should drink 1 glass extra for every 9kg you carry around because of the extra weight causes your metabolism to slow.
  • If you are working out you should add 1 glass for every 20 minutes of your workout routine.

What I'm up to this coming week:
It has been very busy at my place, we had our robes installed on Monday (the linen cupboard is being re-installed today), We got our plumbing final and almost all the electrical is completed but for the areas around mirrors and splash backs which will go in next week. This weekend I am doing a massive clean inside.   We are moving in next weekend! I am so excited!

Things to do this week:
    • Write your inspiration list
    • Post your before photos
    • Find something that inspires you and post it.
    • Move more; Make “YOU” time by getting in more active activities than this week. It shouldn't be too hard to do this.
    • Try something new - it might be a new activity, food or something you've always wanted to try.
    • Make obtainable short term goals and stick to it.
    • Eat more vegetables and protein.
    • Consume less sugar 
    • Exercise more
